Equal Parenthood Policies

This contractor has implemented industry-leading equal parenthood policies.

All employees (any gender) will have access to 6 months parental leave on full pay, followed by 13 weeks half pay (applicable to those people with a due date from first week in October) – regardless of how they become parents, including birth, adoption or surrogacy.

There is a new phased return to work available whereby employees can work 80% of their pre-leave hours but paid for 100% their pre-leave salary for a 13 week period.

This comes with a new pregnancy loss policy, enabling all employees to take paid leave in the event that they, their partner or their surrogate suffers a loss of pregnancy.

This is the first site to have fathers take up on this offer.
