Modular Mechanical and Electrical Prism Units

On this project, the contractor has arranged for all mechanical and electrical services to arrive on site in one ‘prism’ unit which is 6m long.

This is then lifted up and screwed into position and connected to the next piece in the chain.

This reduces people working at height installing equipment and pipes etc. It also reduces mistakes with items being coordinated on the prism rack.

Implementation of this allows for an improvement in safety and a reduction in on site works with this being prefabricated offsite.
