Traffic Marshal Training

Alandale view training as the provision of experiences and opportunities to help their staff acquire the skills and knowledge they need to carry out their role, and to develop appropriate attitudes.

People learn in different ways and to facilitate these different learning styles and utilise the benefits of multi-sensory learning, their Traffic Marshal training incorporates a variety of activities to practice decision making. For example, when discussing vehicle manoeuvring and positioning of traffic marshals, they use Lego models and a mock-up street scene to highlight issues. This allows them to demonstrate and practice a variety of scenarios.

In fact, real projects can be modelled which allows them to involve their trainees in the identification of issues and how to overcome them.
