Wheeled Container Lifter

This contractor installed a wheeled container mover that makes lifting and transporting cargo containers simple, with just two people required to raise or lower the load with minimum effort.

Once the wheels are attached to the lower corners of the shipping container, it can be towed by a suitable vehicle at speeds of up to 7.5 miles per hour. The turning radius with a 20ft container is about 10 meters with the rear corner units locked. To reduce the radius, you can unlock the rear wheels and gently steer by hand.

This device allows two personnel to easily raise or lower an ISO cargo container with minimal physical effort, eliminating the need for specialised machinery.

Traditionally, the use of mobile cranes for lifting containers requires considerable time and effort to set up crane pads and temporary works and involves high operational costs.
