Work Pack Strategy

The ‘Work Pack’ strategy employed on the project actively encourages workforce and separate trade engagement in developing RAMS, logistics plans, design and trade interface etc.

Work Packs are holistic, containing all of the information that construction operatives and teams require. Project information is filtered, structured, formatted and presented to suit construction activities and each element on the project is brought together on one installation drawing.

The collaborative and iterative approach with all personnel has resulted in operative ownership, safer, more effective and efficient working practices, and installation information certainty.

The benefits of these work packs are:

  • Information structured to be fit for construction purposes.
  • Work Pack ownership improves trade/subcontractor Interface management.
  • Reduced risk through certainty.
  • Culture of collaboration developed between all business divisions.
  • Facilitates construction progress tracking and management of resources .
