World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day promotes mental health education, awareness and advocacy.

This day will be focusing on mental health in the workplace.

To support World Mental Health Day on your site, you could do the following:

  • Read the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s ‘Spotlight on… mental health’ learning toolkit which includes case studies of how sites have raised awareness of mental health amongst the workforce;
  • Hold a Tea & Talk event to celebrate World Mental Health Day with your operatives on site, by getting together to have a chat and a cup of tea and inviting them to make a donation to the Mental Health Foundation;
  • Support the Construction Industry Helpline and make operatives aware that this support is available.

World Mental Health Day runs on 10 October annually.
