Attitude

Topic Progress:

The Scheme expects registered sites, companies and suppliers to promote values of respect and equality, so it is important that those representing the Scheme lead by example.

Anyone representing the Scheme should be polite, professional and respectful at all times. This is particularly important for Monitors, as a site visit may be the only impression someone has of the Scheme.

Examples of an unacceptable attitude might include:

  • Being dismissive.
  • Being condescending or patronising.
  • Being sarcastic or rude.
  • Being arrogant.
  • Being unwilling to listen.
  • Using discriminatory language.
