Causing Offence

In the unfortunate event that you think you might have caused offence or behaved inappropriately, you should rectify your behaviour and apologise immediately to the person you have potentially offended.

If you do not apologise in that moment but realise later that you should have, you should contact the Scheme office to raise the issue and to make the Scheme aware that you might have offended someone, and that a complaint might be made against you.

In these situations, it is best to be honest and take responsibility for your actions.
