Containerised HV Substations

This contractor deployed a containerised substation, housed in a modified 20ft shipping container.

This compact substation replaced a traditional substation, providing temporary power during construction, and was utilised for it’s space efficiency, ease of deployment, and ability to be migrated throughout phases of the project lifecycle to new locations to allow permanent works to proceed.

This in turn, also minimised the relocation works and helped in meeting the environmental and safety standards in a dense construction environment.
