During the installation of heavy fire doors on site, the carpentry contractor is using a door installation tool. Usually, fitting front entrance doors is a two man operation as the doors can weigh 100kg. They enticed the carpenters to use a new product they found called the Door Stud.

The door sits on the tool which allows one operative to position the door into the required location without excessive manual handling, cutting down the required labour. Once set up, the height of the door install can also be adjusted to suit the install and this can be maintained when installing multiple doors.

This decreases the installation time of the doors, allows one person to fit the doors and ensures the doors are fitted at the correct heights continuously.
