Temporary Flood Defense Wall

This contractor used an interlocking quick wall similar to hessian sand bags as a temporary flood defense wall.

The quadruple baffle bags are made of PP fabric 240/30gm2, coated white and are UV resistant. The coating of the product is flexible and adaptable to any situation. The bags have a unique bottom release system for emptying. The bag system is re-useable and provides a flexible solution to providing storing post use and if necessary, easily disposable bag fills in an environmentally friendly way.

The bags are delivered flat-packed on pallets or stacked vertically inside a container. They can be easily extended and joined and filled with available material using minimal manpower and commonly available equipment. The system can be filled using water, air and sand or other readily available material.

This had a reduction in carbon emissions, waste, working hours, use of plant and machinery a reduction in the installation period and was a safer method of works
