Delivering Training through BentoBot

This project uses a online application called BentoBot (which can be accessed via the phone or desktop) to provide all employees a way to continuously learn.

The platform makes learning fun, engaging and to suit the busy work life, however, it doesn’t take away the importance of completing the required courses to upskill and increase knowledge on topics important to the industry and for business requirements. This therefore assists in investing and supporting all employee’s growth and career aspirations.

BentoBot delivers bite-sized microlearning on topics key to the construction industry. In an industry where construction workers are often working to tight time constraints, this application provides a solution to delivering quick and easy extra curricular learning which can be done in 5-10 minutes everyday.

This removes the need to take workers out of their job to do separate day courses which saves on time and efficiency. The application also gamifies each course, providing quizzes at the end of each ‘learning arc’ for users to consolidate knowledge, a league table to enhance friendly competition and the collection of ‘coins’ to progress further within the league table.

So far courses completed include: modern slavery, mental health, equality diversity and inclusion, sustainability and anti-bribery. Everyone is required to complete and take part in these courses, including senior management and directors.
