Respect the Community – Zero Tolerance Poster

Contractors should be ensuring that fairness, inclusion and respect standards are upheld to the highest level on sites, whilst also operating zero-tolerance policies on any behaviour that falls outside of what should be expected of an individual representing the construction industry.

Attitudes towards these standards have improved in this area, however it is clear that it is still as important as ever for the industry to remain committed to stamping this behaviour out on all construction sites.

Contractors should redouble efforts on respect across the construction industry and ensure that policies and educational resources are in place to prevent these behaviours from occurring, and zero-tolerance policies are in place to deal with those who fall short of the expected behaviour.

The Scheme has created a ‘Respect the Community – Zero Tolerance’ poster for construction projects to display expected behaviours clearly on site, in communal areas such as canteens.
