Social Hub for Operatives

At this current time, the project management team felt that it was crucial for people to feel that a construction site is both a safe and welcoming space. To help achieve this the project erected a marquee.

This structure, complete with artificial grass floor and chill out area, with comfortable furniture and plants, provides a social hub for the site. It also includes a separate quiet space. More inviting than a traditional site canteen or meeting room, it is a space in which social distancing can be easily maintained.

It is a multi-purpose space that is used for inductions, toolbox talks, briefings, safety and environmental displays and meetings, or simply by those operatives seeking a quiet break. The marquee is also open outside normal working hours for those working away from home.
